Size guide
Measurements are the one thing about a custom piece we cannot get from a picture. Each page below explains how to take the ones its order form asks for.
Choose a piece
Before you measure
- Use a soft tape, or a strip of paper and a ruler. String stretches and a steel tape won’t bend.
- Measure twice, at different times of day. Fingers, wrists and ankles change with heat and with hours.
- Write the number down in the unit you measured it in — centimetres for a length, millimetres for a ring size — and say in the order notes if you measured someone other than yourself.
- If you are unsure, say so in the notes. The atelier would much rather ask than remake.
